This is my submission for the 2D Shooter project.
Changes:
1. Added Credit System (Accumulating, bonus if stage is completed)
2. Added Credits from Destroyed Enemies (Bottom Left)
3. Added Minimap (Green marker for player, red for enemy, gray for terrain)
4. Added Remaining Enemy Counter
5. Re-Designed Main Menu (Additional buttons, starship and background)
6. Re-Designed Background (Fades between textures and parallax)
7. Added Upgrades (From main menu use credits to permanently upgrade your ship)
8. Added Instructions to Main Menu (Definitely 100% game instructions for sure absolutely)
9. Added Recovery Upgrade (Adds two lives)
10. Added UI for Lives (Bottom Left)
11. Added Shielding Upgrade (Adds three hp, regenerating one on enemy kill)
12. Added Shield Bar UI (Bottom Left)
13. Modified Win/Loss Screens (Added credits and 2x multiplier for a win)
14. Added Level Progression (Levels unlock as you beat them)
15. Added JSON Data Saving (Credits, Upgrades and Level Progression all save)
16. Cleaned Up Effects (Volume adjustments, removal bugfixes, added a few missing effects)
17. Added Tri-Shot Upgrade (Adds two additional shots at an angle)
18. Added Tracking Upgrade (Curves shots towards enemies)
19. Created Three Unique Levels (Was going to do more and a boss but time is a thing)
20. Adjusted Enemy Collision (They were being cringe... Sadly I didn't have time for pathfinding AI)
